Residential Pest Control in Dallas, TX
Wall voids and original plumbing penetrations are treated as conditions rather than incidental details. Residential pest control in Dallas works those first. Your interior, perimeter and yard line are then covered on a recurring plan.

Older housing produces its own regulars, and they are the ones that exploit age rather than opportunity. Wall voids, original plumbing penetrations and humidity under a raised floor support things a modern slab house never offers, and your home probably has all three. In Dallas Forterra treats the conditions those pests need, then closes the openings with the Zero Gap System™, copper mesh and silicone. Texas Pest Control License TPCL #850046, from $49 a month.

Older housing, and decades of penetrations.
The quarterly plan out of the Dallas office runs against the oldest housing stock we service, and that shapes what the visits actually do. A house that has been standing sixty years has had plumbing recut, wiring pulled, air conditioning added and a kitchen moved, and every one of those left a penetration somewhere. The pests that turn up indoors here are usually not new arrivals, they are using routes that have been open for years.
So the perimeter work matters more than the interior spray. Technicians on this route spend their time at the slab line, at the weep holes, around utility entries and at the garage door corners, because closing those changes the following quarter rather than the following week. The plan is $49 a month with initial service from $149, and on this stock the first visit usually includes more sealing conversation than treatment.
Pier-and-beam sections deserve a separate mention. Where a property has one, the crawl space is doing more to determine what gets indoors than the exterior walls are, and it is the part almost nobody looks at. We include it in the first visit rather than treating it as an extra.

"My serviceman Parker was extremely communicative and provided me with a thorough inspection and follow up report."
"My family and I been with Forterra Pest Control for quite some time now, and the main reason we’ve stayed is because of Billy. He has been our primary technician, and we truly can’t say enough good things about him. Billy is always professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and incredibly thorough. He takes the time to explain what he’s doing, answers any questions we have, and genuinely cares about making sure our home is taken care of. You can tell he takes pride in his work, and that makes a huge difference. My family and I feel comfortable and confident knowing Billy is the one servicing our home. Fortera is lucky to have him, and he’s the reason we continue to choose this company. Highly recommend Forterra, and especially Billy! Forterra, please take good care of him, I’ve referred him to many of my clients and continue to do so."
"Friendly and thorough"
A perimeter service built to keep the bugs where they belong: outside.
Residential Pest Control is our foundational quarterly service. A Forterra technician, the same one, ideally, every visit, treats the exterior perimeter of your home: the foundation line, eaves, windows, doors, utility penetrations, garage, and yard zones where pests stage before they get inside.
Treatment is only half of it. The rest is exclusion: finding and sealing the gaps that act as highways for pests. Weep holes, gas-line and AC penetrations, gaps around door sweeps, unscreened vents. We use copper mesh, silicone, and sealant-grade caulk, materials that stay with the house whether you remain a customer or not.
Because we treat the outside thoroughly, we almost never need to spray the inside. That's better service and a better-protected home.

Spray and pray is easy. Sealing is forever.
Every pest that gets inside your home came through a gap, a gas line penetration, an unsealed weep hole, a worn door sweep. Most companies spray a band and leave. We find the gaps and close them, one visit at a time. Whatever we seal stays sealed, even if you fire us tomorrow.
- 01
Inspect the perimeter.
Your tech walks all 6 zones, foundation, eaves, entry points, doors/windows, garage, yard, and logs what they find. They're then able to customize the treatment.
- 02
Treat where pests stage.
Perimeter treatment at the foundation, eave sweep, targeted spot treatments in high-pressure zones. We use the minimum effective product, not the maximum billable volume.
- 03
Seal a gap. Every visit.
This is the part everyone else skips. Copper mesh in weep holes. Silicone around utility penetrations. Fresh caulk where the old stuff failed. It's slower. It's better. And it stays with your house forever.

Report & follow up.
Before we leave: detailed report of what was treated, what was sealed, and what we identified for next visit. See a pest between services? Text us. We come back free.
DFW pest pressure by month.
DFW has a long pest season, it never stops, although it does slow down during the colder months. But for those who have lived here know how crazy the weather can get. 70 degrees in January? No problem. Our quarterly treatment schedule adjusts to the pest pressures we deal with during that time of year.
When to start: Any time, but new customers who start in January–March typically see the smoothest first summer. Mid-summer starts still work (we just treat a little harder on visit one).

Recurring service opens at $49 a month, with the first visit priced on its own once somebody has walked the property. On an older Dallas house that opening survey usually turns up more to close than a modern build does, so the weight of the cost lands there rather than on the monthly figure that follows it afterwards.
Usually more on the first visit and not much more after that. Decades of settlement, re-routed plumbing and past repairs leave a Dallas property with more openings than a recent build, so the initial sealing takes longer. Once those are closed the recurring visits are maintenance rather than catch-up, and the scope tends to settle down within the first year.
Ants, roaches, spiders, scorpions, crickets, wasps, silverfish and the rest of what commonly gets into an older Dallas home, with exterior rodent work included. Termites, mosquitoes and interior rodent problems are separate programs because they need different products and frequencies. You will be told plainly which category your problem falls into rather than having it quietly folded in.
Where the house is pier-and-beam it is usually the most valuable part of the visit, because a great deal of what shows up upstairs starts underneath the floor. Access decides how much gets done, so clearing the hatch beforehand pays off. On a Dallas property built on a slab, the same attention goes to the perimeter and its joints.
Most Dallas homes get a slot inside a few days, and that opening appointment is the long one. If something is coming indoors right now, mention it on the call and the booking moves forward instead of sitting in the routine queue. The visits after it are fitted to your own diary rather than landing on a fixed date.
It opens with a survey, moves to the exterior perimeter and the yard line, goes indoors only where the survey says it should, and closes whatever openings turn up on the way. Because the survey leads, a visit to the same Dallas address in February and in August look almost nothing like one another at all. That is by design.
There is no term. Billing is monthly and stops on reasonable notice with nothing outstanding. The one thing worth asking is that you let a whole cycle run before forming a view, since the opening visit does the structural work and the ones behind it hold what it achieved. An older Dallas house takes a season to settle down.
You ring, somebody attends, and nothing is added to the bill. That is what separates a plan from paying for each treatment as it comes, and the commitment sits in your agreement rather than being extended as a favor. A callback is informative too, because it nearly always means an opening on the Dallas property was missed first time.
