Yes. Sentricon stations are locking plastic housings buried flush with the ground, kids and pets can't open them, and there's no chemical in the soil or air for anyone to contact. The bait itself is inside the station and uses a very small amount of active ingredient that specifically targets the way termite molting works. It's one of the key reasons we chose this system.

Liquid termiticides (Termidor, Taurus, Premise) build a soil barrier. New termites cannot cross it, but the colony survives, and treating your home with them usually means trenching plus drilling through slabs and patios. Sentricon works the other way. Foraging termites find the stations, share the bait, and the colony itself collapses, with no trenching and no soil-wide chemical. For most DFW homes we consider it the better tool.

As long as you're on monitoring, we re-treat for free, additional bait, additional stations if needed. If three re-treatments still can't resolve the issue, we refund your most recent payment. The warranty is backed by Forterra itself, not the manufacturer. Worth knowing when you compare companies, since very few DFW providers offer any damage warranty at all, so wherever you go, read what the warranty actually covers.

Bait stations are monitored on an annual basis, more frequently if there's active feeding. At each check, every station is opened, inspected, documented, and re-baited when necessary. If a station is broken, moved, or buried under new landscaping, we replace or relocate it at no additional charge.

For the inspection, it helps if you're home so we can talk through what we find and answer questions, but it's not required. For installation, we only need access to the exterior perimeter, so you don't need to be on site. We'll send photos and the station diagram when we're done.

Sentricon installation is intentionally low-impact. Each station is about 3 inches across and inserted into a small hole in the soil, flush with the ground. We work around mulch, flower beds, and hardscape. No drilling into slabs, no trenching through your lawn. If landscaping changes later, we reposition stations for free.

The warranty covers free re-treatment if termites return, full station maintenance, repositioning as your property changes, and the money-back guarantee if an issue cannot be resolved. It does not cover repair of existing wood damage, this is a retreatment warranty. Coverage runs while monitoring is active and ends with the last payment; restart monitoring later and the warranty reactivates from that date.

Free inspection. Preventative installs run $300–$400. Installs addressing active termites run $700–$800. Ongoing monitoring and warranty is $29/month. If you already have Sentricon stations in the ground from another provider, we can take over maintenance for a reduced install fee, most of the cost in a new system is the install itself, not the stations.

It depends on what you want to pay for and when. Liquid usually costs more upfront; its appeal is paying once with no monthly bill. Two caveats. Keeping the treating company's warranty still requires annual renewal payments, though the treatment stays in your soil if you stop. Cancel Sentricon and the stations and bait are typically removed. Sentricon meanwhile eliminates the colony and drills nothing.
