Forterra Pest Control is committed to making this site usable by everyone, including people who browse with a screen reader, with the keyboard alone, or with text scaled up. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

What we do

• Every page works with the keyboard alone, and focus is always visible.
• Images that carry meaning have text alternatives. Decorative artwork is hidden from screen readers rather than described.
• Text and background colours are checked for contrast in both the light and dark settings your device may use.
• Headings run in order, so a screen reader can move through a page by structure.
• Nothing moves or animates for anyone whose device asks for reduced motion.
• Forms label every field, and errors say what went wrong and how to fix it.

Where we know we fall short

The service area map is a graphic, and not every city it covers is labelled on it. Every city we service is also listed as text on the service areas page and in the site index, so no coverage information exists only in the map.

Our online quote tool runs on a separate system at quote.forterrapestcontrol.com and is not covered by this statement. If it gives you trouble, call us and we will take the same information by phone.
