Yes. The products we use are EPA-registered for residential exterior application. The standard precaution is to keep pets and kids off treated foliage until it's fully dry, usually about 30 minutes after we leave. Treatment concentrates on the shaded harborage zones where mosquitoes actually rest, with the open lawn treated when pressure calls for it, and your tech is happy to walk through exactly what was applied.
About 30 minutes, once the mist treatment has dried on the foliage, the yard is back to normal use for kids, pets, and dinner outside. Patio surfaces aren't sprayed, so they're available immediately.
Residual on the mist treatment is typically 21–28 days under normal DFW conditions, which is why we visit monthly. The MosquitoCon stations work continuously between visits, they don't have a residual window in the same way; we just refill them each month.
Modern mosquito products bind to the leaf surface and are largely rainfast within a few hours of application. A heavy storm right after a treatment can reduce effectiveness, and if mosquito pressure is genuinely bad after one, text us and we'll come back free. The trigger is the pressure, not the rain itself.
