A property that looks completely dry from the patio can be sitting directly above the thing that is producing them.
Considerably, yes. The greenways threading through Dallas hold damp ground and vegetation year round, and a garden backing onto one takes a steady supply rather than an occasional visitor. It does not make the problem unsolvable. It does mean the treatment concentrates on that boundary and the shaded resting areas rather than on open lawn nobody is bitten on.
