"Casey did a great job with our Mosquito treatment! He was on time and let us know when he was going to begin and when it was safe for our pets to go outside."
Mosquito Control in Aubrey, TX
Stock tanks, ditches and pasture that holds water for a week after rain. We treat hard around the house and the outdoor space you actually use, and we are straight about what acreage will keep sending your way.
Forterra Mosquito Control is a monthly residential mosquito service for the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, delivered April through October. Every visit combines two treatments: a backpack-sprayer mist applied to mosquito harborage areas (foliage, dense shrubs, shaded plants, under decks, and fence lines) to control adult mosquitoes, and MosquitoCon larvicide stations from VM Products that stop larvae from maturing into biting adults. Pricing is $52/month smoothed across all 12 months for budget consistency, or $89 per individual treatment, both backed by the money-back guarantee. Reducing mosquito populations also helps reduce the local vectors that can carry West Nile virus and other concerns. Exterior flea & tick prevention is included at no additional cost, the treatment area and methodology overlap with what flea and tick services use. Performed under Texas Pest Control License TPCL #850046.
Forterra Aubrey.
The Aubrey office is based out here rather than reaching from the metro, which is the difference between a route and a long drive at the end of one. W-2 technicians run it, never subcontractors, every visit is logged to the property, and the ★ 5.0 rating across 327 Google reviews is this office's own record.

Stock tanks, ditches and open water.
Out of the Aubrey office the mosquito picture is rural. Stock tanks, roadside ditches, low pasture that holds water for a week after rain, and troughs that are refilled rather than emptied all sit within flight range of the house. On acreage there is no version of this where every source is removed, and any company promising that is selling something it cannot deliver.
What does work is treating the ground near the house hard and being realistic about the rest. We concentrate on the resting sites within the zone people actually use, the shaded side of the house, the porch line, planting near outdoor seating, and we tell you which water sources on the property are worth changing and which are simply part of living here. Monthly visits through the season, scheduled by the office rather than booked each time.
Wind is the one thing working in your favour out here. Open ground moves air in a way a fenced suburban yard does not, and seating placed where that air actually moves genuinely reduces bites. It is free, it is not a product, and we will mention it before selling a heavier programme.

"Chad did my mosquito service and they have stayed away! Great job, Chad!"
"Recently moved into our new home, we had lots of options for pest control and mosquito spraying services and decided to go with Forterra pest control. Cobie Clay is our technician that takes care of us, he’s great to work with! Always communicates ahead of time when he will be there so we know when to have the dogs inside, gives a detailed post service summary and service itself is spot on. Definitely recommend giving them a call."
"Casey did amazing. He notified me when he was going to arrive and then did the mosquito service in a timely manner."
Most companies spray adults and walk away. We come for the next generation, too.
Mosquitoes have a two-stage life cycle, so we treat both stages, together, every visit. One visit, one truck, two products doing different jobs in the same yard.
Backpack sprayer mist treatment.
Targeted mist applied to where adult mosquitoes rest during the day, foliage, dense shrubs, shaded plants, under decks, and fence lines. The "mist" is just our application method, not a permanent installed system.
MosquitoCon larvicide stations.
MosquitoCon stations from VM Products sit in shaded corners of your yard. They attract egg-laying females, then prevent the larvae they leave behind from ever maturing into biting adults. Quietly devastating to the breeding cycle.
Why we do both.
Adulticide alone is a treadmill. Kill today's mosquitoes; tomorrow's eggs hatch into next week's bites. By treating larvae and adults together, we drop the population faster and keep it down through the season, using less product overall, not more.
" Spraying for adults is the easy half. Honestly, anybody can buy a sprayer. The hard part, the part that actually shrinks the mosquito population around your house, is interrupting the next generation before they hatch. MosquitoCon does that, quietly, in the background. We layer it under the mist treatment because doing one without the other is leaving money on the table for your neighbors' mosquitoes. "
You have an infestation, and a backyard you've stopped using. Both are fixable.
That's the honest version. Most of our mosquito customers don't call because they've seen a bug, they call because dinner outside has stopped being a thing, and the kids' trampoline has become decoration. The dual-attack method exists so the patio works again. The chairs get used. Dinner moves outside again.
Ready when you are. Real prices online in about 60 seconds, phones answered 24/7.
Every monthly visit, plainly listed.
No itemized add-ons. No "premium" tier. The price you see covers everything below, including the exterior flea & tick prevention that we'd normally only run as a separate $250 reactive service.
Walk the property and identify shaded resting zones, standing-water risks, and vegetation pressure.
Applied to foliage, dense shrubs, shaded plants, under decks, and fence lines where adult mosquitoes rest.
Inspect each station, refill larvicide, and reposition if conditions in your yard have changed.
Note any new breeding hotspots and flag what to fix, saucers, gutters, low spots, bird baths.
Where we treated, what we noticed, and what's worth your attention before the next visit.
If mosquitoes come back hard in the middle of the month, text us. We come back. No charge.
The same harborage zones we treat for mosquitoes overlap with the zones flea & tick service targets. So we cover those, too, at no additional cost. Standalone equivalent: $250 one-time treatment
Where we spray. Where the stations go. What ~25 minutes actually buys.
The mist treatment is concentrated on harborage, shaded plants, fence lines, and under-deck zones first, with the open lawn treated when pressure calls for it. MosquitoCon stations sit in the corners, where shade and humidity make life easy for breeding females.

Arrival & walkthrough
Tech texts on the way and walks the property, looking for new shaded resting zones, standing water, and any complaint hotspots from last visit.
- 02
Harborage inspection
Identify the resting zones for the season's pressure, under decks, dense shrubs, fence-line beds, shaded foundation plants. Conditions change month to month.

When DFW mosquitoes are out, and when we treat them.
North Texas has a defined mosquito season. From a treatment-economics perspective, there's no point spraying in February. Service runs April through October, seven monthly visits, covering the entire active window plus the shoulder months on either side.
When to start: The earlier in spring you start, the lower the population gets before peak. Customers who start in April typically have the easiest July. Mid-summer starts still work, we just hit it hard on the first visit.
Two ways to pay. Same service on either.
Most customers pick the smoothed monthly option for budget consistency, same charge in February as in July, even though the work happens April through October. If you'd rather pay only when we treat, the per-visit option is cleaner.
Monthly — smoothed across the year
Same monthly charge year-round. Service runs April – October (7 visits).
- 7 monthly visits Apr – Oct
- Backpack sprayer mist treatment, every visit
- MosquitoCon stations, installed and serviced
- Exterior flea & tick prevention, included
- Free re-treats between visits if mosquitoes return
- Money-back guarantee. If you are not happy, we make it right.
Per individual treatment
Pay only when we treat. Best if you'd rather not have a recurring charge.
- Single visit, same scope as monthly
- Adult mist treatment + station service
- Exterior flea & tick prevention included
- The office schedules each one for you
- Auto-scheduled. The office books each visit for you.
Mosquito questions in Aubrey, answered plainly.
If you don't see yours, call (817) 670-2835 or text us, a human will answer.
Product goes on foliage and resting sites, not across open ground or play areas, and it dries fairly quickly. You get a re-entry window rather than a vague assurance. On a property with animals we are specific about which areas to keep them off and for how long.
As soon as it is dry, which is a short wait rather than a day. The technician gives you the window before leaving. On acreage we will also flag any treated ground animals normally cross so you can keep them clear until it has dried.
Three to four weeks around the buildings. On acreage the honest answer is that treated ground stays treated for about that long while untreated pasture keeps sending new arrivals, so the effect is strongest close to the house.
Once dry it binds to the foliage and ordinary rain does not simply rinse it away. A long heavy storm reduces it, and out here so does a sprinkler or trough overflow running onto treated ground. We would rather know about those than treat over them.
Mid-March, once nights hold above about fifty degrees. Out here the ditches and low pasture fill early, so the first generation can arrive before a metro yard sees anything. Starting on time matters more on acreage than it does in town.
The monthly programme, with the office scheduling the visits so nobody has to remember. Treatment targets resting sites and standing water through the season rather than fogging air, and out here we will tell you which water sources on the property we can and cannot reach.
Treating adults alone means the next batch arrives on time regardless. Larvae get dealt with in the water they are in, adults where they rest during the day, and together that reduces how many arrive rather than only how many are here now. On acreage that difference is the whole result.
It pauses, because the adults have gone and treating empty ground would be taking your money. Winter is when the water sources are worth dealing with, troughs, ditches and low ground near the house, since those are what supply the spring population.
Call and we come back at no charge. Out here a return between visits is often a water source rather than a treatment issue, a trough refilled instead of emptied or a ditch that held after rain, and we will walk it with you.
No, and on acreage it is not close. There is standing water within flight range that no treatment reaches, and a company claiming otherwise has not walked the property. We cut the population near the buildings and the seating area, which is where it matters.
